How to Choose Korean Skincare Wholesale Suppliers in India

Choose a Korean skincare wholesale supplier by checking the business, the sourcing evidence, the order minimums, the remaining shelf life and the written quotation. For Indian retailers and Instagram sellers, the right supplier is one whose stock, terms and documentation fit the way you plan to sell.

Receive the sheet by email, choose products, then request a confirmed quotation on WhatsApp. No payment is required to request the sheet.

Buying workflow: Check the supplier → Compare the quote → Confirm the stock → Place your order

Start with your store’s buying requirements

Before asking for a price list, write down your selling channel, product categories, available stock budget and intended purchase quantities. A physical beauty store planning a mixed-brand restock has different requirements from a business seeking permission to list a brand on a marketplace. Tell the supplier which situation applies.

Separate requirements you cannot compromise on from preferences. A confirmed pack size, acceptable expiry and the documents required for your selling channel belong on the first list. A particular carton arrangement or an extra product sample may belong on the second. This makes quotations easier to compare and prevents a low headline price from deciding the whole order.

Understand who you are buying from

An India-based wholesaler supplies stock through a domestic buying arrangement. A Korean exporter or brand may offer an overseas supply arrangement that leaves importing responsibilities with you or another named party. A manufacturer offering private-label development is a different proposition from a distributor selling finished branded products.

Ask the seller to state its role, the invoicing business and the party responsible for fulfilling the order. Do not assume that a wholesaler is a brand-appointed distributor, or that access to genuine products includes marketplace selling permission. Each claim needs its own evidence.

Seven checks before choosing a wholesale supplier

1. Confirm the business and payment identity

Request the legal business name, business address, contact details and invoice information. Before transferring money, reconcile the quotation with the payment beneficiary. If names differ, ask for a written explanation and resolve it before paying. A familiar social-media profile is useful context, but it does not replace a clear transaction record.

2. Ask what sourcing evidence is available

Ask how the goods are sourced and what documentation the supplier can share for the specific products. If it claims brand appointment or channel authorisation, ask for evidence covering the relevant brand, territory and channel. Avoid treating a general statement about authenticity as proof of every separate commercial permission.

3. Confirm the exact products, packs and batches

A product name alone is not enough. Match the size, variant, sellable pack, quantity and any agreed batch or expiry information to the quote. Record whether the remaining shelf life will be confirmed before payment or before dispatch, and agree what happens if the proposed stock does not meet your requirement.

4. Separate the order minimum from the SKU minimum

One minimum may apply to the invoice total and another to each product. Ask whether the total is calculated before or after discounts, whether it includes GST, and whether you can combine brands. This determines how much variety your budget actually buys.

5. Compare the complete quotation

Compare identical packs and quantities. Check the wholesale unit price, discounts, tax treatment, freight and total payable. Website MRP is a retail reference; it is not automatically the price you will pay wholesale. Keep potential selling prices separate from the supplier’s quote so you do not mistake a possible margin for a guaranteed result.

6. Check availability and dispatch commitments

A catalogue describes a range. It does not necessarily reserve stock. Ask when availability is confirmed, what event starts the dispatch window, and whether partial fulfilment or substitutions require your approval. Dispatch timing and delivery timing are different: leave room for transit when planning a launch or promotion.

7. Read payment and damage terms before ordering

Request the advance-payment requirement, cancellation position, damage-reporting process and claim evidence requirements in writing. Share them with whoever receives the parcel. A policy that requires an unboxing record is much less useful if the receiving team learns about it after opening the shipment.

A simple supplier comparison checklist

  • Business and payment identity are reconciled.
  • Product sizes, quantities and selling-channel needs are explicit.
  • Sourcing evidence and any authorisation claims have been checked separately.
  • Order minimum, SKU minimum and mixing rules are clear.
  • Batch, expiry and acceptable stock conditions are agreed.
  • Total payable and dispatch trigger are written down.
  • Damage, cancellation and substitution terms are understood.

Use the same checklist for each supplier. Mark unresolved answers as “awaiting confirmation” rather than giving a supplier credit for a claim it has not supported. Do not place an order merely to settle an unanswered question later.

We are buying for a [retail store / Instagram store / other channel] in [city]. We are interested in [brands, exact products and packs], with an approximate purchase budget of [amount]. Please share current availability, wholesale prices, order and SKU minimums, expiry information, applicable shipping and payment terms, and the documentation available for our intended channel. Please identify any points that need confirmation before payment.

How Zosmetics wholesale enquiries work

On Zosmetics’ Korean beauty wholesale website, request the inventory sheet and wholesale prices by email. Choose the products and quantities you want, then discuss your order on WhatsApp. Availability is confirmed with the formal quotation. The catalogue helps you explore products; displayed prices are MRP rather than your wholesale quote.

The published order minimum is ₹50,000 after discounts, including GST, with six units per SKU and mixed brands allowed. Full advance payment is made against a formal quotation. Dispatch is within seven working days after payment receipt; the GST invoice is issued on dispatch. Zosmetics does not provide brand authorisation for Amazon, Flipkart or other ecommerce websites. Check the current terms before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

Is the supplier with the lowest price always the best choice?

Compare equivalent products, shelf life, quantities and total costs first. An incomplete quote cannot be assessed fairly against a complete one.

Does a batch code prove a product is genuine?

No. A batch code can help identify a lot, but it is not conclusive proof of authenticity. Check the sourcing trail and the relevant brand’s current verification guidance.

Can I mix Korean skincare brands in one order?

That depends on the supplier. Zosmetics allows mixed brands, subject to its overall minimum, six units per SKU and confirmed availability.

Are website prices wholesale prices?

On Zosmetics, website prices are MRP including GST. Request the inventory sheet to receive wholesale prices.

Can a wholesale invoice replace marketplace authorisation?

Do not assume that it can. Establish the selling channel’s requirements and the documents the supplier actually provides before purchasing.

What happens after I request inventory?

The inventory sheet and wholesale prices are emailed to you. Select products and quantities, then request a confirmed quotation on WhatsApp before payment.
